Christine Liu is a licensed P.E. with 10 years of experience in the industry. She completed her Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Portland, Oregon in 2016 and obtained her Electrical Engineering license in 2018. She interned at EDGE during college and continued to work for EDGE after graduating. At EDGE, she worked as a designer with a focus on healthcare related projects and gained technical expertise in electrical design.
In 2020, she moved to Hawaii to work for the Department of the Navy at Pearl Harbor where she worked on a multi-disciplined engineering team as a planner to complete DD1391 forms and site approvals on federally funded projects for organizations within the Department of Defense. She coordinated between stakeholders and ensured the correct funding was provided for electrical substation, circuit, telecommunication, and EV projects, while also working on other non-electrical projects including roadways, dry docks, pump stations, etc. Her time supporting government and mission critical facilities across the state has given her a deep understanding of Hawaii’s unique infrastructure needs and regulatory environment.
In 2025, she has rejoined EDGE as the Regional Director in Hawaii to lead the expansion of our firm into the islands while continuing to grow from our Sacramento headquarters.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and spending quality time with her family
